7/15/26 Enhancement to EdPortal User Role Processing for ACHIEVE, FastBridge and Panorama Student Success

On Wednesday, July 15, the Iowa Education Portal (EdPortal) is deploying long-awaited programming to honor the end date on staff user role assignments entered in your school's student information system (SIS). This programming will remove the user role and link to the application from the user's EdPortal account when the end date on the assignment is past. This impacts ACHIEVE, FastBridge and Panorama Student Success. There is no expected impact to users during working hours. 

As a result of the enhancement, any ACHIEVE, FastBridge, or Panorama role with an end date on/before July 15 in the local SIS will be automatically removed, and any user roles with future end dates will be removed during the nightly update after the end date.

If you lose access to ACHIEVE, FastBridge or Panorama Student Success, the first step is to reach out to your school's SIS manager for assistance with the following:

• Does the email you use to log into EdPortal match your email in the school SIS? If not, they will need to update the email in EdPortal or the school's SIS, whichever is incorrect, and allow overnight for the data to connect.

• Do you have a valid role and building assigned in the school SIS with either a future end date or no end date entered on the assignment?

  • Important! At this time of year, the school year on the staff assignment impacts whether the data can connect with the EdPortal account. EdPortal will continue to use 2025-2026 school year role assignments until Monday, July 20 Tuesday, July 21, at which time it will switch to processing 2026-2027 school year role assignments.
