2026.8.13 UPDATE FastBridge Benchmarks and Student Rosters

The FastBridge norms and benchmarks update announced on August 11 has been paused. Iowa roster syncs have also been paused until August 17. Below is a message from the vendor related to these changes:

On August 11, we let you know that updated FastBridge norms and benchmarks were available. Since then, we identified additional validation work needed before we're ready to deploy those updates. As a result, your FastBridge account is currently displaying prior norms and benchmarks; the new ones announced on August 11 are not yet in effect.

At this time, the downloadable Norms and Benchmarks Tables are not displaying the correct information. We are currently updating those resources to revert them to the prior norms and benchmarks that are currently in effect within FastBridge.

We take the accuracy of norms and benchmarks seriously since they directly inform how students are grouped and supported. We would rather take the time to get this right than release something before we're confident in it.

We are completing this validation now and will share frequent updates on next steps until this issue is fully resolved. In the meantime, no action is needed on your part. 

We also want to provide a roster sync update for Iowa districts. At this time, roster sync has not yet been enabled for all Iowa districts. We are working to enable the sync on Monday, August 17th, 2026. If that timeline changes, we will provide additional communication as soon as possible.
