Welcome to spring! The end of the school year is approaching, and the spring screening window is almost here. 

2025-2026 Spring Screening Window (Literacy and Mathematics)

  • The spring screening window is Monday, April 20 through Friday, May 29.

  • See Planning for the Screening Window for tips on preparations.

  • Remember to disable browser extensions (i.e., Google Lens and similar) that have the potential to be used by students and inflate screening results.

Panorama Student Success Webinar Recordings

  • In February, there were several Student Success trainings presented via Zoom. Topics included using winter data to strengthen intervention systems, using winter data to adjust student supports, and an overview of new attendance reports available in Student Success. Panorama Student Success Healthy Indicator Report 1 pm Data Syncs

  • Daily updates are completed by 1:00 pm CST to display the previous day’s data. The exact timing of individual locations may vary, but all should be done by 1pm daily.

  • The timing of updates has been extended due to upgrades to the HI reports.

FastBridge User Group

  • FastBridge hosts Iowa user group meetings periodically throughout the school year. Please note: the user groups are not sponsored by the Iowa Department of Education; they are offered by Renaissance, FastBridge’s parent company. Select Default Assessment for 2026-27 in CASA (Principals and Superintendent)

  • Mark your calendars:

    • May 11 through June 5 - Spring collection of literacy and math default assessment selection.

    • August 1-21 - Fall collection of literacy and math default assessments to confirm spring selections or to complete new selections for those who didn’t in the spring. 

  • Additional information and instructions for default assessment collection will be posted here soon.

  • Assessment administration contact information will be included in the spring collection. New for 2026-27, the ELI/MTSS Coordinator has been replaced with Student Information System Data Manager. This SIS manager will be the Department’s contact when questions about SIS data entry, SIF function and student demographic or enrollment issues arise related to FastBridge and Panorama.
